WhirlyBird Mast Installation [TEST]

Posted by Rob Turkewitz on
Even though we are in the middle of winter, the birds haven’t left us and even more birds could be around if you are in a southern state. Take a look here at a mast installation the inventor of the WhirlyBird repeller has been testing for a while. Rob writes,

My mast mounted WhirlyBird finally gave out during a 50 mph wind storm about a month ago. The next day, a huge flock of blackbirds arrived and perched all over the rigging of my boat, painting the deck and cabin top white. They made themselves at home and partied on my rigging for about a week, at which point I installed a new WhirlyBird. I’m happy and relieved to say that the birds bolted and have kept away ever since.
